Gravity is a fundamental force that governs the motion of objects in the universe. It is the force that pulls objects with mass towards each other. This force is what keeps the planets in orbit around the sun and the moon in orbit around the Earth. Gravity is what gives objects weight and causes them to fall towards the ground when dropped.

Sir Isaac Newton was the first scientist to formulate a mathematical description of gravity.
