Known in Greek mythology as a fearsome monster, Geryon was a creature with three heads who lived on the island of Erytheia. According to the legend, he was the son of Chrysaor and Callirrhoe.
One of the most well-known stories involving Geryon is his role in the tenth labor of Hercules. As part of his penance for killing his wife and children in a fit of madness, Hercules was tasked with stealing the cattle of Geryon.
