Cytoplasm

The cytoplasm is the gel-like substance that fills the cell and surrounds the organelles. It is where many cellular processes take place, such as metabolism and protein synthesis. The cytoplasm also contains the cytoskeleton, which provides structure and support to the cell.

Genetic Material

The genetic material of the cell is located in the nucleus in eukaryotic cells. This genetic material, known as DNA, contains the instructions for the cell's activities. DNA is organized into structures called chromosomes, which are passed down from parent cells to daughter cells during cell division.

Eukaryotic cells are more complex and larger than prokaryotic cells. They have a true nucleus that houses the genetic material. Eukaryotic cells also contain membrane-bound organelles such as mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum, and Golgi apparatus.
