Formed in 2009, Beady Eye was an English rock band that emerged from the ashes of the iconic band Oasis. Consisting of former Oasis members Liam Gallagher, Gem Archer, Andy Bell, and Chris Sharrock, Beady Eye sought to continue creating music after Oasis disbanded.
Beady Eye released their debut album, "Different Gear, Still Speeding," in 2011 to positive reviews. The album showcased the band's ability to evolve from their Oasis days while still retaining the raw energy and rock 'n' roll spirit that made them famous.
Band members
Liam Gallagher, the charismatic frontman of Oasis, took on the same role in Beady Eye. Gem Archer played guitar, Andy Bell played bass, and Chris Sharrock was on drums. Each member brought their unique style and influences to the band, creating a sound that was both familiar and fresh.
Discography
Aside from their debut album, Beady Eye released "BE" in 2013. This album showcased a more experimental side of the band, incorporating elements of psychedelic rock and electronic music. While not as commercially successful as their debut, "BE" was praised for its innovation and willingness to push boundaries.
Despite the critical acclaim, Beady Eye announced their breakup in 2014, citing creative differences. The members went on to pursue other projects, with Liam Gallagher continuing his solo career. While Beady Eye may no longer be active, their music continues to be celebrated by fans of British rock.
